Science Workshop at Royal Liberty School
We went to the science labs
where we were told about safety procedures and each given some safety goggles
to wear. We were shown how when mixed together chemicals can have reactions,
these can be from changing colour, to changing form ie from a liquid to a solid
or gas, they could heat up, ignite and
catch fire or could result in a gas which could fizz or cause something to
move.
We conducted our own
experiments to look at any changes.

We also met the man from the
Zoo Lab who introduced us to some animals. He told us about them , their
natural habitats, what they eat and other interesting information. We were
encouraged to hold or touch the animals.
