The winning house Diamonds earned themselves a fantastic
treat. A two-day workshop run by a local artist, Matt Healy. The children chose
from three activities: a rainforest collage, a superhero comic and painting in
the style of cubism.
The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. “I love it!”
said Bailey in 2F.
“I liked learning how to make the flowers,” said Scarlett,
2F.
“I’ve created muscle face!” said Bradley, 3L.
The children proudly took their work home to share with
their friends and family.
Mr Healy said, “I’ve been impressed by the children’s
enthusiasm, imagination and high artistic ability.”
