Last week, year 6 became detectives and enjoyed solving a maths murder mystery.
The children were informed that a murder had been committed at a jigsaw shop and they had to use the jigsaw clues to work out who the murderer was.
They worked out different maths problems and used their knowledge of times tables, fractions and percentages of amounts and units of measure to help them.
Luckily, when all the clues had been worked out, the murder mystery was solved!!!
